Job Summary
The AIoT Category Operation Manager is responsible for the overall management and business performance of Xiaomi’s AIoT (Artificial Intelligence + Internet of Things) product categories in Xiaomi Store. This role includes target setting, product lifecycle management, sales achievement tracking, and market analysis. The position plays a key role in driving category growth, optimizing retail performance, and ensuring successful product launches across Xiaomi Stores in France.
Key Responsibilities
Target Management
- Set business and sales targets for AIoT categories and monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance against goals.
- Conduct performance tracking and analysis to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HQ and store teams to develop action plans to ensure target achievement.
Product Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of AIoT products, from introduction and growth to maturity and phase-out.
- Plan Xiaomi Store channel launches based on global product release schedules, unique selling points (USPs), and competitive landscape.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, retail, etc.) to ensure successful product introduction and execution.
- Continuously monitor product performance, adjusting strategies to maximize profitability and customer experience.
Sales Management
- Take ownership of sales revenue for assigned AIoT categories.
- Conduct regular sales data analysis, performance reviews, and category operation summaries.
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and drive sustainable category growth.
- Work closely with retail operations to optimize sell-out efficiency and store display standards.
Market Insight & Strategy
- Collect and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Conduct category positioning and pricing analysis to develop effective product and retail strategies.
- Monitor the entire sales cycle to identify patterns, refine sales tactics, and optimize product performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for category expansion and long-term planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in category management, product operation, or retail business (consumer electronics or IoT preferred).
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and retail sales dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Fluent in English and French; Mandarin is a plus.
