A global leader in animal health is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Intertropical Africa. You will be responsible for defining and managing sales strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading local teams. Required qualifications include experience in animal health and fluency in French and English. This role is based in Tours or Libourne, with travel to Africa required.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in selling value-added products or technical solutions.
  • First managerial experience and/or knowledge of the African continent.
  • Autonomy, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.

  • Manage the local marketing budget and ensure return on investments.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will join a team of two other Regional Managers.

You will be responsible for the Intertropical Africa zone, with a dual role:

Business Development
  • Define and manage the sales and marketing action plan, in line with the strategy defined by the Franchise Species teams (Ruminant and Poultry).
  • Develop, structure and secure the loyalty of the importer / distributor network.
  • Draw up and monitor sales forecasts.
  • Manage the local marketing budget and ensure the return on investment of actions in the field.
  • Ensure smooth processing of customer orders, in liaison with customer service and logistics.
Team Management
  • Close management of our local teams (veterinarians and technicians).
  • Support, train and motivate local teams to boost their performance.
  • Adapt your approach to the realities on the ground, to the diversity of customers and to the specific challenges of each market.

You will never be alone: you will work in synergy with our technical, marketing and logistics experts. An onboarding program will support you from the moment you arrive.

Qualifications
  • Higher technical education (veterinarian, agri/agro engineer) or sales experience with a strong technical background in animal health.
  • Significant experience in selling value-added products or technical solutions (animal health, livestock production, agriculture or agri‑food).
  • First managerial experience and/or knowledge of the African continent would be a real asset.
  • Autonomy, initiative and a collaborative spirit.
  • Comfortable in multicultural environments, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of customer service.
  • Fluent in French and English.

Position based in Tours (37) or Libourne (33), with regular travel in Africa (25-40% of the time, depending on the period).
