A luxury cosmetics company is seeking a dynamic Regional Retail Education Manager in Paris to implement the Global Retail Education strategy. The ideal candidate will manage distributor relationships, ensure compliance with brand guidelines, and act as a brand ambassador. This role requires a minimum of 5 years in retail education or training, with a strong background in the luxury sector. Fluency in French and English is essential, along with excellent communication skills and project management capabilities.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Regional Retail Education Manager to join our newly created Retail Education Department, reporting directly to the Head of Global Retail Education.

In this role, you will lead the implementation of our Global Retail Education strategy for both brands in the region, manage relationships with distributors and their teams, ensure Excellence in in-store execution, and act as a brand ambassador by delivering impactful training sessions, events, and masterclasses.

You will also be responsible for providing the global team with valuable qualitative and quantitative insights, helping drive continuous improvement across the region.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Education Execution
  • Implement the Global Retail Education framework and adapt it to regional needs.
  • Ensure alignment with brand objectives and market requirements.
Distributor & BA Relationship Management
  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with distributor teams and Beauty Advisors.
  • Conduct regular visits to provide support, coaching, and performance guidance.
In-Store Excellence
  • Oversee Visual Merchandising (VM), grooming standards, and KPIs across retail locations.
  • Monitor performance and ensure compliance with brand guidelines at all times.
Brand Representation & Training Delivery
  • Act as a leading brand ambassador in the region.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions, events, and masterclasses to elevate brand presence and team capability.
Performance Insights & Reporting
  • Collect, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative regional feedback.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to the global team for ongoing improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Regional Commercial team to align on strategy and ensure successful execution across markets.
Role-Specific Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, especially with BAs, distributor teams, and store personnel.
  • Solid understanding of retail performance metrics (VM, grooming, KPIs).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in leading trainings and representing the brand.
  • Ability to translate data and feedback into actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Desired Background & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail Education, training, or a related field.
  • Experience in the luxury or premium retail sector is a strong plus.
