Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the field. Strong knowledge of international standards for dam design and excellent communication skills in Italian and English are essential. Activities & Responsibilities Gruner Stucky, to support the development and the growth of the Italian Department, is currently seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join the team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the design, safety assessment and construction of embankment / concrete dams and hydropower plants. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both local and international projects and to make a significant impact in the field of civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive management of projects related to dams and hydropower facilities: Planning, organizing, and monitoring resources assigned to the projects.
  • Providing technical guidance for both internal and external project teams.
  • Support to the Project Manager / Supervisor for the contractual issues.
  • Conduct short‑term field assignments as required.
Requirements profile
  • Degree in Civil Engineering (MSc., PhD is an asset).
  • 10 years of proven experience in dams & hydro engineering, with a portfolio of successful local and international projects.
  • Experience in the conception, design, and construction follow‑up of dams.
  • Knowledge of international standards and guidelines for dam design, including ICOLD, USBR, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally for short‑term assignments.
