This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, perform reserving analyses, and build pricing models. Overview

Job Title: Actuary – Reserving & Pricing (F / H)

Location: Paris, France

Type: CDI | Temps plein | Mode hybride

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Actuary to join a leading international consulting and advisory firm in its Paris-based actuarial team. This role offers exposure to both reserving and pricing across a wide range of non-life insurance lines and the chance to work on high-impact projects with major insurers and reinsurers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reserving analyses for various P&C lines (motor, property, liability, etc.)
  • Build and refine pricing models (GLMs and advanced methodologies)
  • Contribute to reporting and compliance under Solvency II, IFRS 17, and internal models
  • Present actuarial insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with local and international teams on cross-border projects
  • Participate in the automation and enhancement of actuarial processes
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • Master's degree in actuarial science, statistics, or applied mathematics
  • 3+ years of experience in non-life reserving and / or pricing roles
  • Strong technical skills: ResQ, Emblem, R, Python, Excel / VBA (or equivalent tools)
  • Familiarity with Solvency II, IFRS 17, and regulatory reporting
  • Clear communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English
