A leading imaging research laboratory in Grenoble, France is seeking a motivated postdoctoral candidate specialized in medical image processing to develop deep learning techniques for image registration. Responsibilities include research publication and student supervision in a collaborative environment. The position offers a competitive gross salary starting at €2395 monthly for a duration of 18 months.
Contexte et mission : The Computer-Assisted Medical Interventions (CAMI) team of the TIMC laboratory (Grenoble, France) is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate with a strong background in medical image processing (registration and segmentation) and experience in deep learning approaches with a focus on ultrasound imaging. The candidate will work on the development of a multimodal deep learning registration method between pre-operative 3D MR images and intraoperative 3D transrectal ultrasound images. This method should be able to provide a deformation field to link the two images. The candidate will be expected to publish their research in leading international journals and conferences in the field, participate in the supervision of PhD students and contribute to the collaborative projects within the laboratory. The TIMC laboratory is located minutes away from the Grenoble University Hospital, allowing for a close and effective collaboration with clinical & industrial partners. Grenoble is a welcoming student city at the heart of the French Alps.
DURATION : 18 months (as soon as possible from 01/2023)
