A global creative company in Paris is seeking a Physical Security and Risk Management Director to lead a global security strategy, ensuring the safety of its people and assets. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in security management and a strong background in executive protection. This full-time role provides a collaborative environment to drive innovative security solutions while working closely with various stakeholders.

We are looking for a Physical Security and Risk Management Director to lead this transformation a trusted leader who can build a global function that protects our people, assets, studios and events while ensuring preparedness and resilience across all geographies.
Global Security Strategy & Leadership
Architect and implement a comprehensive global security framework covering site and assets security, VIP movement, travel security, residential safety and artist operations.
Develop and run Believes Security Risk Management Program, including threat intelligence integration, audits and pre‑trip security briefings.
Act as Physical Security and Risk Management Director for high‑profile programs such as events, artist tours, festivals and sensitive operations in high‑risk regions.
Advise the Executive Committee on strategic security decisions.
Operational Management of Physical Security
Lead the day‑to‑day security of all physical assets and teams including offices, studios, events and temporary accommodations.
Propose and oversee infrastructure upgrades (access controls, CCTVs, alarm systems) as well as response protocols (lockdown procedures, safe zones and evacuations).
Design and implement VIP protection protocols including secure logistics, codeword systems and silent alert mechanisms.
Responsible for executive protection.
Crisis Response & Emergency Readiness
Develop and maintain emergency response playbooks.
Coordinate cross‑functional incident response across cyber, legal, HR and artist relations teams.
Lead simulation exercises and facilitate engagement with local and national authorities (e.g. police, DGSI, mayor’s services, etc.).
Governance Compliance & Vendor Management
Ensure compliance with local and global safety regulations and standards.
Embed safety requirements into vendor, venue and studio contracts.
Audit and manage relationships with vendors and reception staff.
Define and manage the global physical security budget, ensuring cost‑effective deployment of protection resources, infrastructure upgrades and service contracts.
Awareness Culture & Talent
Train frontline staff, artists and local leaders in threat detection, trauma handling and emergency response.
Foster a culture of early risk identification, discreet escalation and proactive vigilance.
Build and grow a lean elite security team capable of working in both stable and volatile regions.
Risk Intelligence & Security Innovation
Monitor geopolitical threats, digital exposure and real‑world safety signals (e.g. social media indicators).
Oversee Digital Exposure Hygiene for public‑facing teams to prevent location leaks and social engineering risks.
Work closely with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) to predict hybrid threats and drive response prioritization.
Safeguard sensitive security information by enforcing confidentiality standards and partnering with cybersecurity, communications and legal teams.
10 years in physical security, executive protection and large‑scale event security leadership.
Experience in high‑stakes environments and settings such as large events, private protection firms or military special forces.
Proven track record of building international security programs for multi‑site companies and public events and leading crisis response.
Demonstrated success in team leadership, budget management, contract oversight and working across cultures.
Strong ability to engage with executive leadership, law enforcement and public authorities on high‑stakes matters.
Familiarity with international safety regulations and ability to lead compliance audits.
Fluent in at least French and English; additional languages appreciated for LATAM or APAC coordination.
Desirable qualifications
Certified Protection Professional (CPP), PSP or equivalent.
Knowledge of fire prevention, HSE or emergency medical coordination.
Strong project management skills; ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
Experience in entertainment, creative or artist‑facing industries is a strong plus.
Understanding of the cyber/physical interface (hybrid threat models, social media exposure, etc.).
