Job Description

The role and responsibilities of the Medical Copywriter include the following :

  • Developing and updating content for various commercial assets, with a focus on omnichannel implementation across digital channels (including banner ads, emails, sales rep materials such as iDetail, social media posts / content, and websites) as well as printed material (posters, slide kits, patient guidelines, sales content, leaflets, and conference materials).
  • Working with medical, regulatory, and legal guidelines ensuring compliance with French legislation and regulations , including client internal policies, ensuring all content is supported by authentic and up-to-date references.
  • Occasional involvement in creative projects including ideation and moving-image work for campaign-level activity.
  • Collaborating with graphic design teams, brand teams, and production teams on briefs, workshops, and project deliveries.
  • Following best practices in processes, communication (internal and external), project management, documentation, and technical requirements such as language, grammar, stylization, content search, summarizing, data reconciliation, and referencing.
  • Participating in assigned training programs and working on assignments as required.
  • Participating in client calls as needed for project requirements.
  • Using, supervising, and harnessing the advantages of AI tools to provide accurate and relevant copy content.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, confidentiality, and security processes and policies.
Ideal Profile
  • Education : Related healthcare degree / master’s or equivalent qualification preferable.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience, including in-house creative or agency roles working with pharma clients.
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements – French Code de la Santé Publique (CSP).
  • Familiarity with rare diseases; additional knowledge of respiratory & immunology, cardiovascular, renal & metabolic, and oncology therapy areas is a plus.
  • Openness to developing further scientific and medical knowledge in collaboration with Medical teams.
  • Strong flair, skills, and passion for writing with conceptual ability and a solid understanding of the digital landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills.
  • Experience in SEO copywriting, including best practices that drive traffic (keyword research), combined with compelling copy encouraging desired actions, is a strong advantage.
  • Passion for networking and stakeholder engagement.
  • Up-to-date with technical / scientific developments and able to apply them to projects.
  • Client-oriented mindset focused on building strong long-term relationships.
  • Strong time‑management skills and ability to assure timely completion of assignments.
  • Skilled in problem identification and problem solving.
  • Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and capable of multitasking in fast‑paced environments.
  • Experience in large multinational or matrixed corporate environments preferable.
  • Candidate would ideally reside commutable to the local client’s office in Paris , as this is a hybrid office / remote position with occasional on‑site expectations.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in native French and good business English skills.
