General Job Function :

Within a project team, you are responsible for carrying out a part of a project, and report to the Project Manager who coordinates all the activities. In particular, you are responsible for issuing justification documents, technical specifications, material procurement specifications and regulatory documentation. You may also review supplier manufacturing documentation.


You are particularly attentive on the compliance with the standard, code (RCC-M / RSE-M) and regulatory requirements. You may provide technical support for resolving manufacturing discrepancies.


Duties and Responsibilities :


  • You are the technical lead for the design / development / qualification and commissioning part of an equipment installed in a Nuclear Power Plant.

  • Your knowledge of the manufacturing processes for boilermaking equipment in a constrained regulatory environment allows you to find the right solution to the problems met.

  • You guarantee compliance with the standard practices, regulatory requirements and applicable standards.

  • You work on technical specifications and regulatory documents.

  • You participate in technical meetings with the customer, the authorized body or suppliers.

  • You ensure adequate reporting to the project manager or Technical Lead you report to.

  • Your experience and skills allow you to promote innovation in the company. You are also part of the Westinghouse Technical Leader Development Program.

  • Depending on your overall workload, you may be required to work on different engineering projects simultaneously.


Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies :

Master Degree


You have 1 to 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in an industrial environment.


Technical Skills :


  • Your knowledge of the nuclear environment (RCC-M Code, ESPN and PED regulations) is an asset to your application.

  • You are comfortable with the IT tools.

  • You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, which allows you to communicate with the different stakeholders in the project.


Behavioral Skills :


  • Autonomous.

  • You rigor ensures the quality of your deliverables. You also ensure their compliance with the quality requirements, deadlines and budget defined and ensure regular reporting to the Project Manager.

  • Teamwork.
