THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Act as the key contact for MAs, Confederations, and Regional Associations regarding matters related to the (digital) registration of (active) football stakeholders and competition management solutions
- Promote throughout the MAs, Confederations, and Regional Associations the (components of the) FIFA Connect Programme, which include and are not limited to the FIFA Connect Platform, FIFA Connect Competition Management System, and FIFA Connect Service
- Coordinate the support for these solutions, which are provided under the FIFA Connect Programme, and foster the optimised use of it by developing the MA's capacity in the area
- Collect the MA’s, Confederation’s, and Regional Association’s needs and potentially convert these, in collaboration with FIFA’s Technology Sub-Division, into new features of the FIFA Connect Programme’s components
- Analyse the data regarding players (and other stakeholders) registration and competitions and produce relevant reporting and insights for both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain internal documentation structure relating to the FIFA Connect Programme to preserve historical knowledge and facilitate accessibility to information
- Promote throughout FIFA the work of the FIFA Connect Programme to keep internal stakeholders updated on development and possible collaboration with the programme and its components
- Review and support MAs FIFA Forward Specific Project applications related to topics concerning competition development, additional tools that integrate with player registration systems, educational events around player registration practices, and all proposals that relate to the FIFA Connect Programme in one way or another
- Support any additional project and initiative that promotes MA development around football competitions, player registrations, and any other possible services that align with FIFA’s key goals

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

- Strategic thinking and leadership experience
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in (sports) business administration or another closely related field is preferred
- Significant experience in stakeholder management is desired
- Knowledge in project management around technology services is an advantage
- Experience in designing and delivering capacity development activities is an advantage
- Work experience in the area football competitions is an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of stakeholder registration and/ or competition management systems
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in similar administrative roles
- Professional experience in Project Management related roles is an advantage
- Professional experience in the Sports industry is an advantage
- Full professional proficiency in English and French
- Proficiency in any other languages (Spanish/Portuguese/Arabic) is an asset
- Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel
- Skills in graphic design is an asset
- Willingness to travel
