Your daily life

The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems and platforms, satellite assembly/integration/testing, and in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.

Thales Alenia Space is a major European player in space telecommunications, navigation, Earth observation and offers a complete range of services and solutions: dual missions (civil/military), constellations, satellites with flexible payloads, altimetry, meteorology, high-resolution optical instruments.

Within the Legal and Contracts Department of Thales Alenia Space France, you will supervise, manage and lead the Cannes team of 5 people in coordination with the Legal and Contracts Director of Thales Alenia Space France based in Toulouse.

Reporting to the Legal and Contracts Director of the perimeter, you will:

• Manage and lead the Cannes team, ensuring that each team member develops their skills (co-facilitate meetings between the Cannes and Toulouse teams)
• Represent the Legal and Contracts Department within the Cannes establishment
• Participate in the meetings of the Thales Alenia Space JV Legal and Contracts Department network and contribute to the defined improvement actions
• As Compliance Officer of Thales Alenia Space France, be responsible for the deployment and monitoring of the Group’s compliance program within the company, in conjunction with the Chief Compliance Officer and the network of Compliance Officers of Thales Alenia Space.

Your profile

You have a Bac+5 degree in business law (Master 2, DESS or equivalent) ideally supplemented by a degree in finance/management or business school and have proven experience in:

• Team management focused on development and support
• The exercise of operational activities both on export and institutional markets in France and abroad
• Management/supervision of pre-litigation files and monitoring of litigation files
• Maintaining close collaboration with the teams of other Thales Alenia Space entities based in Italy, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland and the UK and more generally with the Group
• Fluent English is required, Italian would be a plus
