• Airbus Defence & Space is seeking a
• Legal Counsel
• Business Law (f / m)
• to join the Legal Department of Airbus Public Safety and Security (PSS) in Elancourt, France.

You will be part of an international legal team of around ten professionals. Your role will be to promote, secure, and defend the legal interests of the PSS business by providing independent legal advice and support to the business team.

Your challenges :

• Proactively contribute to risk mitigation by identifying major risks and proposing alternatives.
• Provide legal support in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, analyzing legal validity of claims, and advising on regulatory issues such as public procurement laws and anti-trust regulations.
• Prepare legal and compliance documentation for proposal approvals during the bid process.
• Manage and coordinate external law firms.
• Manage and protect Intellectual Property Rights (patents, designs, branding).
• Handle pre-litigation and litigation cases.
• Organize legal training sessions.
• Contribute to the development and transformation of the Legal Department and its processes.
• Prepare and update legal documentation and contact templates.
• Ensure adherence to legal and compliance procedures.

Your profile :

• French legal Counsel / qualified lawyer.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Law, gained from an international law firm or a multinational company.
• Successful experience in handling contract matters.
• Background in telecommunications, mobile services, or software is highly valued (MNO / MVNO, SaaS, license management).
• Fluent in French and proficient in English negotiation.

This position requires security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
