The Europe Infrastructure and Energy unit is an open and dynamic team, which develops, advises, structures and invests in infrastructures across a number of sectors including power, transportation, telecom, technology, urban infrastructure and utilities. Our geographic focus includes Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. Our team members are located in Vienna (main hub), Belgrade, Bucharest, Kyiv, London, Paris, Tbilisi, Warsaw and Zagreb.
We are seeking an Investment Officer to join our team in Paris, France, to work closely with the Europe Infrastructure and Equity lead and other equity-focused colleagues to help continue to grow and manage IFC’s equity and mezzanine business.
The ideal candidate will bring strong equity experience, investment skills in investment analysis and project management to evaluate new investment opportunities, conduct rigorous financial and investment analysis, and contribute to the structuring and execution of transactions, and to portfolio management. This role offers a unique opportunity to build relationships with clients, oversee project milestones and contribute to sustainable private sector investment that help alleviate poverty and improve people’s lives in emerging markets.
The selected candidate will work across all of IFC’s mandate countries in emerging Europe.
