Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to perform the services described in this specification as part of the ongoing FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) activities for the ABADI FPSO project, to be moored in Indonesian waters.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver the required environmental engineering documentation for the FEED phase, including:
- Environmental Design Philosophy
- Environmental Design Basis
- ENVID (Environmental Issues Identification)
- Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (EMMP)
- Oversee and ensure proper follow-up of the Subcontractor's work on:
- Air Emission Study and Modelling Report
- Water and Wastewater Management Study Report
- Provide support to the Loss Prevention & Environment Discipline Lead for coordination with:
- Other engineering disciplines
- The Project Team
- The CLIENT (COMPANY)
- Any nominated third parties, as applicable
Qualifications / Skills
- To perform the above services, the SUBCONTRACTOR must propose a candidate with the following experience and competencies specific to the Oil & Gas sector:
- Strong ability to analyze process information required for calculations, simulations, and environmental studies related to the FPSO facility.
- Good knowledge of international and local environmental regulations applicable to offshore floating production systems.
- Proven experience with a similar scope of work during FEED and / or EPC phases, preferably on the Engineering Contractor side.
- Mobility required for missions in Jakarta, Indonesia.
- Experience working with INPEX as a client or familiarity with Indonesian environmental laws would be considered a strong advantage.
