A leading transportation company in France is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to aid in predictive maintenance. The role involves deploying condition-based maintenance techniques, proposing technical solutions, organizing data collection, and creating performance dashboards. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree and has at least 3 years of related experience, with strong skills in Matlab and Python. Knowledge of IoT systems is a plus and the position emphasizes problem-solving, analytical skills, and teamwork.

As part of its predictive maintenance development activities, Alstom Crespin is recruiting a Data Analyst to join its Engineering Services team.

You will be part of a field-oriented team with a strong technical and maintenance culture. You are curious, rigorous, versatile, and a team player. You demonstrate initiative and proactivity in driving your projects forward.

Main Responsibilities

As a Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

CBM Function Deployment on Ongoing Projects:

  • Propose and implement technical solutions for data collection on test trains
  • Structure and organize data from various onboard systems
  • Ensure data transmission to ground-based systems
  • Identify and analyze relevant data circulating within onboard networks
Data Analysis and Value Creation:
  • Evaluate the data received
  • Define performance indicators to monitor system health and detect maintenance alerts
  • Create dashboards for monitoring and reporting
  • Draft a feasibility report on deploying the CBM concept across the fleet, including an assessment of the potential benefits for Alstom and the client
Profile Required
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent university background
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills: analytical, critical thinking, creative, and capable of synthesizing complex technical topics
  • Proficiency in Matlab and Python
  • Knowledge of IoT systems is a plus
