Overview

Human Capital Digital Broking Leader. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office. Part of our Human Capital structure and key to Aon’s 3x3 strategy!

What the day will look like
  • The successful candidate will lead the Digital Broking function for Aon Human Capital globally. In this role, the colleague will leverage the capabilities of the broader Aon Broking community and represent the portfolio of digital client solutions at Aon’s global, regional or country-specific Broking meetings.
  • Set the digital strategy for health broking in response to the evolving client and carrier needs as the global product owner for the digital global broking solution.
  • Lead the transformation of the global broking process for Health, leveraging and defining the new capabilities including data ingestion, global workflow and data integration, working closely with the regional broking teams, ABS Ops and Tech and global health teams.
  • Manage business operational performance and targets including oversight on commission yield and other alternative compensation agreements.
  • Identify improvements to existing insurance product offerings to better serve existing clients and convert leads to clients.
  • Identify unmet/underserved insurance needs of the small commercial segment to expand the addressable market.

The Global Digital Broking Leader is responsible for driving best-in-class broking strategy across Aon’s digital client solutions portfolio. This includes broking strategy development and execution, digital placement, carrier management and insurance product development.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within a health broking or human capital environment.
  • 10-12+ years of broking experience across multiple insurance products.
  • Demonstrated project management skills from concept to execution, prioritizing high impact activities and keeping projects moving forward driven by deadlines and performance.
  • In-depth experience in broking, carrier management and claims management.
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives, particularly in the context of global system rollouts.
  • Ability to drive stakeholder engagement, manage resistance, and ensure successful adoption across diverse regions and functions.
  • Experienced consulting with and presenting to clients on insurance programs.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience leading and building a broking team that includes carrier management/insurance operations.
  • Technology/Insurtech experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a lean-in and roll-up your sleeves attitude, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Highly organized, motivated, positive, and hard-working with the ability to quickly master challenging topics, think creatively, proactively problem solve, and get results.
