We are looking for a solution-oriented HR Business Partner - Employee Relations specialist based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, responsible for the Benelux region and part of the Global People Care Team. As an integral part of the team, the HR Business Partner is responsible for building, facilitating and supporting employee relations, engagement and communications at the workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for individual employees or managers and for the employee representatives concerning employee relations matters and workplace practices, by acting as a mediator or supporting external mediation if necessary.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees for matters related to life and wellbeing at 3DS, to respond appropriately to their requests for support and contribute to fostering a supportive, appreciative, healthy and inclusive work environment.
  • Act as the HR counterpart for the Dutch and Belgian Works Councils; organize meetings, drive and coordinate agenda topics based on company organizational developments, policy changes and (labor) law changes that need to be addressed under the local Labor Acts.
  • Manage labor relations and enforce corporate policies, practices and culture, ensuring compliance with local laws and practices.
  • Consolidating data related to the employee engagement survey.
  • Contribute to plan, develop, implement and promote activities and programs that enhance overall employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams internationally to drive continuous improvement of initiatives on physical and emotional health, well-being and benefits.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to build strong relationships and partner with stakeholders, utilize solid problem-solving skills and work as a team player demonstrating integrity and a positive attitude, embodying the principles of emotional and social intelligence
  • Experience in Dutch and Belgian employment laws and HR Compliance (with the ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate policies, guidelines and regulations)
  • Experience in Labor Relations and management of the relationship with the Work Council.
  • Direct experience of leading difficult conversations, conflict management and mediation with solid analytical skills to assess workplace situations, evaluate information and draw accurate observations.
  • Thorough understanding of negotiation techniques, dispute resolution, empathy and patience, caring about people and willing to listen.
  • Ability to investigate complaints in compliance with 3DS protocol.
