Description du poste

At Ruby, your personality and time matter. We believe we groove way better together and keep breaking new ground.

Hey Sunshine! You think traveling is more than just a summer holiday – it's the feeling of being at home anywhere in the world. Your workplace should have personality and soul, where new ideas come to life. If that sounds like you, you’re the missing olive in our Martini, the missing melody in our music, and the heartbeat of our Ruby Marseille.

Ruby Lilou is all about contrasts: lavender calm meets bold street art, seaside ease meets punkish rebellion. We’ve blended Provence’s soft colours with a slow lifestyle, yet keep the city’s raw creative edge. With 237 rooms and a spacious rooftop terrace, Ruby Lilou sits at the heart of Marseilles – between the old port, Al Joliette business buzz, and the winding lanes of Le Panier, cultural soul is right on your doorstep.

We are a fast‑growing hospitality group with hotels and workspaces across Europe’s most exciting locations and many projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury.

Responsibilities
  • Lead your team on an eye level, fostering professional and personal development through coaching and regular feedback, while creating a positive team atmosphere as a role model.
  • Ensure effective duty and holiday schedules and smooth work processes while encouraging out‑of‑the‑box thinking and critically questioning existing processes.
  • Take charge of daily operations, roll up your sleeves, actively join briefing sessions, and demonstrate what exceptional service truly means.
  • Live the Ruby Spirit and execute our internal styles and quality standards.
  • Support the Hotel Manager in recruiting top talent and building a strong team.
  • Handle monthly closings, inventories, invoice control, payroll preparations, and regular orders for F&B and operating supplies (SOE).
  • Ensure everything is in order and monitor compliance with HACCP, occupational safety, fire protection, and other legal regulations.
  • Ensure guests feel at home, collect, analyse, and respond to feedback, concerns, or complaints, and find creative and charming solutions.
Qualifications
  • Completed professional training in the hotel industry and/or hold a degree in hospitality or business administration.
  • Experience in an operational leadership role or a similar position in lifestyle hospitality or gastronomy.
  • Good knowledge of POS, PMS, and business management.
  • Motivating, charismatic leader with authentic, loyal nature: both team lead and team player.
  • Warm, welcoming personality with strong communication skills that shine in every interaction.
  • Hands‑on mentality to charm guests and match their needs.
  • Fluent in French and English.
What’s in it for you
  • Bring your style, smile, and ideas – your personality to work. We support tattoos, piercings, or hair colour.
  • Team events, staff rates, and travel buddy perks.
  • Ruby F&B‑Credit – sip, snack, repeat.
  • Mobility allowance and opportunities to boost income through talent scouting, positive reviews, and a bonus agreement.
  • Continuous growth through trainings, coaching, mentoring, and innovation – Lean Luxury, paperless, cashless solutions.
