The UMR1231 Laboratory, affiliated with the Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (INSERM) and Université Bourgogne Europe (UBE), invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position. The selected candidate will apply, with the support of the host laboratory, for competitive fellowships (e.g., La Fondation ARC), with a funding duration of 24 to 36 months.

We particularly encourage applications from French early-career researchers who have completed a postdoctoral stay abroad and wish to continue their scientific career in France. This position offers a strong platform for a second postdoctoral experience and preparation for long-term opportunities, including the INSERM CR (Chargé de Recherche) recruitment competitions.

Research Focus

The team’s work centers on the development of nanoparticles for cancer therapy, with a particular emphasis on targeting immune cells. Research activities involve preclinical studies in small animal models, especially mouse models of cancer.

Profile Required
  • PhD degree in life sciences or related fields (cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology, nanomedicine, etc.).
  • Postdoctoral research experience, ideally including international training, is highly valued.
  • Strong scientific track record, including:
    • At least one peer-reviewed publication from doctoral studies.
    • At least one additional peer-reviewed publication during postdoctoral research.
  • Motivation, autonomy, and enthusiasm for developing innovative cancer research projects.
