Qualifications

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting Office department. The GUO was created in 2023 to steer the performance of our insurance portfolio and support our reinforced focus on technical excellence. The platform also contributes to define our global ambition and approach to new emerging risks related to the energy transition and cyber in the coming years.

Within this department, you will join the Retail Health Pricing team, working with AXA entities across multiple geographies to uplift pricing capability.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will help AXA entities achieve fair, sustainable, and market‑leading technical pricing for retail health products, improving adequacy, consistency, and processes across diverse markets.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive pricing technical excellence through hands‑on missions with entities across varied regulatory environments and maturity levels
  • Lead and support Pricing Technical Reviews for retail health (e.g., Deep Dives, In-Depth Reviews), assessing pricing strategy, adequacy, governance, tools, and implementation quality.
  • Share best practices on pricing methodologies, models and advanced techniques (e.g., GLMs/GBMs, calibration, segmentation), and facilitate knowledge transfer across entities.
  • Translate market trends and innovations in pricing into practical actions and best‑practice sharing sessions
  • Strengthen and animate the Pricing Family
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Risk Management, Underwriting, Claims, and the Group teams on cross‑functional initiatives to align pricing with portfolio goals
YOUR PROFILE
  • 8 to 10 years in actuarial/data science roles focused on health or retail P&C pricing
  • Hands‑on with Python or R and pricing tools (WTW Radar/Emblem, Akur8); able to audit, calibrate, and explain models.
  • Strong grasp of pricing methodologies and advanced techniques (GLMs, machine learning approaches, calibration, monitoring).
  • Ability to step back and form an opinion on the pricing process and practices ; strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; able to tailor messages to technical and business audiences.
  • Comfortable working across multiple geographies and cultures; effective at navigating ambiguity and structuring unstructured problems.
  • High ownership, prioritization, and follow through.
