A dynamic Private Equity investor is seeking a Head of M&A for a fast-growing technology platform in Paris, executing a buy & build strategy. This role involves leading the end-to-end deal process from origination to post-deal integration, working closely with the CEO and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong M&A experience, a proven track record in deal execution, and preferably experience in the technology sector. This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's growth through successful acquisitions.

Qualifications

  • Strong M&A experience in corporate development, investment banking, PE, or transaction services.
  • Proven track record of leading deals from origination to post-deal integration.
  • Experience in the technology sector is highly desirable.

Head of M&A | Technology | Private Equity-backed | Buy & Build Strategy

We’re partnering with a dynamic Private Equity investor to appoint a Head of M&A for a fast-growing technology platform executing an ambitious buy & build strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal point in the company’s growth journey, with a clear mandate to complete 5+ acquisitions per year across targeted verticals.

The Role:

As Head of M&A, you’ll lead the end-to-end deal process — from origination and due diligence through to execution and post-deal integration. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Board, and PE sponsors to shape and drive the inorganic growth strategy across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and evaluate strategic acquisition opportunities
  • Lead all aspects of the M&A lifecycle (valuation, negotiation, structuring, due diligence, etc.)
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of targets
  • Work closely with legal, financial, and operational teams on deal execution
  • Partner with leadership to ensure successful integration and value creation post-deal
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong M&A experience (corporate development, investment banking, PE, or transaction services)
  • Proven track record of leading deals end-to-end
  • Experience in the technology sector is highly desirable
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and hands-on execution skills
  • Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
