A leading consulting firm is seeking a Finance / Venture Capital Expert with over 10 years of experience in finance and investment banking. NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called : One stop data platform (BI) and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to support the European Investment Bank and the European Commission in building fundamentals for automated and more granular reporting, data driven investment decisions, as well as market insights for policy initiatives and ecosystem capabilities building initiatives, aimed at helping early-stage companies / SMEs.

Location

Location : Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, France.

Duration

Duration : The intended start date is March 2026 and the services shall be provided for a period of implementation of 14 months from this date.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Law, Banking, Investment Banking, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related disciplines. ( Minimum requirement ).
• CFA qualifications considered an asset .
• Studies / certificates in data / AI will be considered an asset .
• Working command of English language (CEFR C1) ( Minimum requirement )

General professional experience

• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in working in the field of finance, VC / PE, investment banking, start up in CFO role and / or associated consultancy. ( Minimum requirement ).
• Previous experience from working with European Institutions will be considered an asset .
• Previous professional experience in designing and implementing applications for Banks, Investment firms, PEs, VCs, public entities. Data, reporting, CRMs or workflows will be considered an asset .

Specific professional experience

• Experience on at least 2 assignments relating to investments in innovative early-stage companies / SMEs, incl. scale ups (equity, quasiequity, and debt). ( Minimum requirement )
• Experience on at least 2 assignments demonstrating market consultations of investors, early-stage companies / SMEs and / or other innovation ecosystem actors, data-analysis. ( Minimum requirement )
• Experience (1 assignment) in relation to due diligence of early-stage companies / SMEs, incl. scale ups across asset classes. ( Minimum requirement )
• Experience on data migration, working with venture capital data systems and portfolio management and monitoring tools will be an asset .
• Experience in conducting workshops with various stakeholders, carrying out interviews, aligning interests (in investment context), etc. will be considered an asset .
• Experience with European equity / blended financing will be considered an asset .
