About the Finance team

The Corporate Finance team reports to the Finance Director. The team oversees the financial reporting of Younited within a regulated banking environment. Its mission is (i) to deliver accurate accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting (ii) provide reliable performance analyses to guide strategic decisions partnering with business units to optimize resource allocation, support key growth initiatives and (iii) drive the continued digital transformation of the overall finance function while working closely with teams across the company.

As part of the Corporate Finance team the Head of Accounting Regulatory Finance oversees General Accounting transformation (3 FTE), Banking Accounting (agit 7 FTE) and Consolidation (1 FTE).

Context

The Finance transformation manager is responsible for the overall delivery of the Finance transformation team and reports directly to the Finance Director. This role drives strategic initiatives and supports the Corporate Finance team in maximizing the use of available data. You’ll work closely with the FP&A team to strengthen business partnering by developing tailored, enriched reporting solutions. You’ll also play a pivotal role in Finance transformation initiatives, leveraging its prior experiences with the design and operation of complex Finance data environments and interfaces typically found in large organizations.

• Manage and develop your team, ensuring skills development and high performance,
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced reporting solutions tailored to business needs, leveraging BI tools and financial systems,
• Transform raw data into actionable insights to support FP&A Business partnering,
• IdentifyRon opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Play a key role in Finance transformation projects, including process automation, system.co integration, and Finance data architecture enhancements,
• Leverage prior experience with complex data environments to optimize workflows and improve data connectivity,
• Collaborate closely with FP&A and other Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver enriched, customized reporting solutions,
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing analytical support for strategic initiatives and performance improvement,
• Partner with Tech and Data teams, to ensure seamless integration of Finance reporting solutions in line with the Company organizational best practices.

About you 👇

• Seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience, with a proven experience in financial reporting, gained at a leading audit firm, or in a Corporate FP&A function ideally with exposure to financial institutions, regulated environments, and complex data structures, and with a proven experience in data engineering, data visualization, and data-driven process optimization (GCP / BigQuery / PowerBI / Oracle),
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, including their strategic implications for financial planning and reporting (IFRS & French GAAP),
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy, and reliability,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact confidently with internal stakeholders,
• Full professional proficiency in English both written and spoken is required,
• A proactive, structured, and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment toельно continuous improvement.

Recruitment process 🗓️

1. The process begins with an interview with Arthur, our Lead Talent Acquisition Manager, to discuss the role, your motivations, and how you align with Younited’s values and culture (30 min)
2. This is followed by an interview with Arthur, Finance Director, for a deeper discussion about the position (1h)
3. Next, you’ll complete a CodingGame at home, then prepare a business case focused on coding and data visualization applied to an FP&A topic. You will present this case to Arthur and Robin, Manager of the Analytics Engineers team (1H)
4. Next, you’ll have a fit interview (1h) with Clarisse, FP&A Manager and Raphael, Transformation project Lead (who would report to you)
5. Finally, the process concludes with a closing conversation with Naren, Group CFO (30 min)
