Main Mission
The Field Sales Manager (FS Manager) leads a team of Field Sales representatives. They are responsible for field support, training, monitoring sales performance, and optimizing sector development. They play a key role in reporting strategic information to the Sales Director and in the continuous improvement of sales processes.
Responsibilities & Activities
Management & Field Support
• Accompany FS in the field to help them optimize their sales pitch and techniques.
• Conduct joint client visits to refine the sales approach.
• Provide personalized coaching and regular feedback to sales representatives.
• Monitor individual and collective performance, and set action plans when needed.
Training & Skill Development
• Organize ongoing training sessions to improve sales and negotiation techniques.
• Ensure integration and skill development of new FS.
• Develop best practices and share them with the team.
Market Monitoring & Analysis
• Analyze market data and sales performance to optimize field actions.
• Identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies.
• Conduct competitive intelligence to anticipate market changes.
Communication & Reporting
• Report field insights and sales issues to the Sales Director.
• Monitor KPIs and performance indicators of the team and propose adjustments.
• Proactively suggest improvements to optimize the sales organization and strategies.
