Qualifications

Overview

Dance is a fast-growing electric bike and moped subscription service on a mission to make emobility easy and cities more sustainable. Dance members get their own vehicle, theft coverage, and on-demand repairs on a flexible monthly subscription. An excellent customer experience is key to keeping our members happy—that’s why our local operations teams are so important. Join a dedicated team of mechanics, drivers, assembly specialists, shift leads, and city leads keeping Dance riders on the road in every city. Dance currently operates in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Paris.

Role

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and make sure our e-bikes meet our high Dance standards.
• Carry out on-site maintenance and repair work on our members' bikes.
• Diagnose and solve mechanical problems directly on site with a high level of autonomy, quality and regularity.
• Adapt quickly to different working environments and outdoor conditions.
• Collaborate with field crews, tour managers and members as needed to identify and resolve problems quickly.
• Suggest improvements to equipment and processes to optimize future interventions.
• Ensure proper operation, use, tidiness and cleanliness of Dance equipment and tools.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical knowledge and field maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent skills in diagnosing and solving mechanical problems.
• Ability to adapt to varied and often challenging work environments.
• Cargo bike driving experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and/or French preferred.
• You are enthusiastic about helping us grow, but also about progressing at your personal level.
