Overview

MBI is partnered with a fast-growing medical device company and is seeking a Field Clinical Engineer to join its European team based in either Germany, France, Switzerland or Italy. This role is pivotal in supporting customers with training, installation, and technical expertise for advanced interventional procedures in the MRI environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical ability with clinical insight, thrives in high-pressure settings, and enjoys extensive international travel.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical and clinical support for investigational and commercial interventional procedures.
  • Train physicians, MRI technologists, and electrophysiology staff on protocols, systems, and procedures.
  • Install, test, and document equipment across clinical and research sites.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair specialized systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and clinical teams to enable growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with site physicians and clinical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with study protocols, quality systems, and service documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, clinical science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical, engineering, or field service role.
  • Experience with MRI and / or electrophysiology procedures or devices strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, training, and organisational abilities.
