Job Description
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization specializing in advanced dental implant and biomaterial solutions for restorative and surgical professionals. With a reputation for clinical excellence, innovation, and service-first support, they partner with dentists, oral surgeons and periodontists across the United States. The culture is entrepreneurial, team-oriented and committed to helping driven sales professionals grow their territories while delivering exceptional value to customers.
Responsibilities
- You will own the west coast territory covering San Clemente to San Diego and the surrounding area: prospecting, developing, and expanding relationships with both existing and new accounts (dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists).
- Grow market share to achieve and exceed the targeted revenue by presenting, promoting and selling the company\'s full portfolio of implant and biomaterial products.
- Operate as a sales "hunter" by aggressively mining new opportunities, securing leads, qualifying prospects, and converting them into active accounts.
- Support a "service" mindset and act as a trusted advisor to your customers, addressing challenges, facilitating case logistics and post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Represent the company at local and regional trade shows, continuing education events, and in-office clinical presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (clinical training, marketing, distribution) to optimize product utilization and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
Education & Training
- A Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Work Experience & Accomplishments
- 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in restorative dentistry, but other competitive markets will be considered.
- Demonstrated success in territory management, new business development and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong track record of building and growing customer relationships, especially within clinical/professional settings.
- Experience working independently, managing your own schedule and territory plan.
- A "hunter" and "competitive athlete" mentality: self-motivated, driven, resilient, and relentless in pursuit of new business.
- Strong service orientation: you not only sell but also ensure the customer\'s success.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written): able to engage clinical decision-makers, present compelling proposals and provide support.
- Strong planning and organizational skills: comfortable with CRM systems, forecasting, territory analysis and reporting.
- Technical aptitude: ability to learn product details, clinical procedures and translate them into customer benefits.
- A valid driver\'s license, a personal vehicle and a willingness to travel within the territory are required.
- Five figure base salary, uncapped monthly commission on all sales, and quarterly bonus potential (industry-leading pay structure for high performers).
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) with matching.
- Unlimited PTO.
- Vehicle reimbursement plan - allowance and mileage calculation.
- Exceptional professional development opportunities.
- A high-energy, entrepreneurial team environment where you have the autonomy to own your success and grow your career.
