Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scraper to join our team. As a Data Scraper, you will be responsible for extracting and parsing data from various online sources using Python programming language and associated frameworks such as Selenium, Beautiful Soup, and Requests. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web scraping techniques, data manipulation, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web scraping scripts using Python programming language.
• Utilize Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and Requests frameworks to extract data from dynamic and static web pages.
• Analyze and interpret scraped data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Optimize web scraping scripts for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with other team members to integrate scraped data into internal systems or applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scraping scripts to ensure uninterrupted data extraction.
• Stay updated with the latest web scraping technologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards related to web scraping, data privacy, and intellectual property rights.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliverables.
• Provide documentation and training to team members on web scraping processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scraper or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with web scraping frameworks such as Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and Requests.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and XPath.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing techniques.
• Previous experience in Data Scraping.
