The successful candidate will lead data migration workstreams for a major SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring quality and governance practices. Strong experience in large-scale digital programmes and familiarity with data migration tools, particularly Sinity, is highly desired. This is a remote role with occasional travel to the South of France.

SixteenFifty is a specialist digital and technology talent consultancy, representing a global organisation undergoing a major SAP S / 4HANA and digital landscape transformation. As part of this multi-year programme, our client is modernising core applications, implementing new platforms, and consolidating data across the enterprise.

We are seeking an experienced Data Project Manager to lead and coordinate data activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring high-quality migration and smooth transition into the new digital ecosystem.

This is a critical role within the transformation, working at the intersection of IT, business, data governance, and external delivery partners.

The Data Project Manager will be responsible for :

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of data migration workstreams across the SAP S / 4HANA implementation and wider system landscape modernisation.
• Coordinating internal stakeholders, business process leads, and external vendors to ensure alignment on scope, dependencies, and timelines.
• Overseeing data readiness, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities to ensure accurate and reliable migration.
• Managing data migration plans, RAID logs, cutover activities, and progress reporting across multiple global teams.
• Ensuring consistent data governance practices and adherence to enterprise data standards.
• Supporting mock loads, test cycles, defect management, and go-live preparation related to data objects.
• Facilitating cross-functional workshops to resolve issues, track deliverables, and maintain integration between business, technical, and programme teams.
• Providing transparency on status, risks, and decision points to PMO and senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have :

• Demonstrable experience as a Data Project Manager or Project Manager overseeing data-related deliverables in large-scale digital or ERP programmes.
• Prior exposure to SAP data migration (S / 4HANA highly desirable) and familiarity with core business processes.
• Experience working with data migration tools or platforms - Sinity experience is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and end-to-end migration methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across global teams and external partners.
• Solid project management capabilities, including planning, risk management, status reporting, and steering delivery across multiple priorities.
• A proactive, structured, and collaborative approach, with the ability to operate in a fast-moving programme environment.
