Your role

Be the analytical backbone of Global Business Development. You’ll convert raw commercial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that steer profitability and growth — with high exposure to senior management (BD, Product, and Finance leadership) across the full sales lifecycle from pipeline → award → traded business.

What are you going do
Analytics, Data & BI
  • Own global KPI design, calculation, and governance (customer, product, region; budget/award/traded views).
  • Build scalable datasets and models; drive data integrity and single-source-of-truth across CRM, financials, and ops.
  • Develop and automate dashboards (Excel/Power BI) used in C-level reviews; explain drivers and “so-what” succinctly.
Performance controlling (Traded Business | P&L)
  • Deliver customer profitability views; identify margin leakage and quantify drivers (price, mix, ramp-up, churn).
  • Standardize Budget ↔ Awarded ↔ Traded methodology; perform bridges, variance analysis, and root-cause narratives.
  • Coordinate regional BD controlling to ensure consistent methods and best-practice sharing.
  • Challenge tender assumptions (costs, volumes, risks) and build robust financial models.
  • Track booking trends and new-wins vs base performance.
  • Lead budgets and rolling forecasts for nominated Century & Elite accounts; align Product Sales budgeting with Finance & Ops.
  • Track BD SG&A (staff, travel) and support cost-effectiveness analyses with Global Sales Excellence.
Senior Management & exposure
  • Act as a trusted partner to BD/Product leadership; run performance reviews; recommend corrective actions with measurable KPIs.
  • Prepare and present insight packs for senior management and global forums.
What we are looking for
  • 3–5 years in controlling / commercial analytics / pricing / FP&A, ideally in logistics; freight forwarding is a strong plus.
  • Solid finance toolkit: P&L, margin/ROS, revenue/mix bridges, scenario modeling, risk-based thinking.
  • Excel (advanced): Power Query/Power Pivot, pivot tables, INDEX MATCH/ XLOOKUP/SUMIFS; Power BI ; Python nice-to-have.
  • Proven ability to translate data into decisions and to influence senior stakeholders; fluent English.
