A leading retail company in France seeks a Customer Advisor to support the Commercial fuel team. This office-based role is part-time (20 hours per week, 10am – 2pm Mon-Fri) and involves managing communications, record-keeping, and document preparation. Ideal candidates should possess experience with office software and strong interpersonal skills, working collaboratively within the team.

Role Introduction:

Established in 1992, Applegreen is a leading convenience roadside retailer in the Republic of Ireland, the UK and the US in both large-scale Motorway Service Areas and Travel Plazas, as well as smaller petrol stations. The business has grown to over €3BN in annual revenue, operating 600 Motorway Service Plazas and forecourt sites internationally and employing over 17,000 people.

Applegreen is in a rapid growth phase and to support this ambitious growth, we are seeking to onboard aCustomer Advisorto join our team.

This role will form part of the Commercial fuel team and reports to The Commercial Fuel Manager successful candidate will be a confident people person who can fit into Applegreenseamlessly and adopt a hands-on approach to their role. This role is office based and is 20 hours per week (10am – 2pm Monday – Friday)

As Applegreen expands, the responsibilities will evolve and change over time. The core responsibilities will centre around the following areas:

The Candidate should have the following:

  • Communication & Support: Answering phones, managing emails and incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Record Keeping & Data Management: Organizing and maintaining paper and digital files, managing databases, and performing data entry.
  • Document Preparation: Creating, editing, and distributing documents, reports, and presentations for various departments.
  • Workflow & Procedures: Maintaining and refining standard operating procedures to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications, experience & skills

  • Experience using MS Excel, MS Word & CRM systems.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and information.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to engage and develop relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
  • Competence with common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management systems.
  • A knack for anticipating needs, identifying issues, and resolving administrative problems.
  • Be a self-starter and be able to work collaboratively as a member of a highly interdependent team across many parts of Applegreen.
  • Has sound judgement and objective logical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to handle diverse administrative tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
