Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cabin Module Engineer (f/h) specialized in cabin seat development to join our STC Solutions Programme / Customer Services team in Toulouse, France. The role covers the management of cabin equipment development tasks and validation of all deliverables related to the activities. Depending on project scope, you may also manage retrofit projects, kits management, and external stakeholders (customer, MROs, manufacturers…).

EN: STC Solutions Programme delivers cabin upgrades certified through Airbus STC to airlines and lessors for in-service aircraft modifications.

Working environment: Toulouse is a dynamic aerospace hub in the southwest of France with access to international travel and outdoor activities.
Integrated in multifunctional teams addressing cabin systems upgrades on programs SA, LR, DD, WB, XWB, you will be responsible for the following missions:
Offer phase: support cost and pricing assessment and prepare RFQs.
Technical architecture: develop equipment specifications, assist supplier selection, and identify all deliverables related to equipment development, schedule, costs and risks.
Project development: coordinate design and justification activities, monitor supplier deliverables, schedule, costs and risks; coordinate equipment manufacturing and support First Article Inspection.
Working Party / Installations on aircraft: provide support and responses to reports of defects related to equipment installation.
In-service support and continuous airworthiness: assist in-service queries from operators when required.
Kits management: coordinate with the supply chain for supplier sourcing/contracting and monitor kit deliverables, schedule, costs and risks.
Required hard skills:
Master level (or equivalent) in Engineering or related discipline and at least 5 years of professional experience.
Experience in development and integration of cabin equipment/modules on aircraft.
Experience in development and integration of cabin seats on aircraft.
General knowledge of Airbus aircraft and method/tools (VT3, CATIA V5).
Knowledge of CS25 and general regulation requirements, and technical project management.
Basic configuration management knowledge.
Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.
Knowledge of Airbus certification and qualification of aircraft seats.
Soft skills:

Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and structure daily work within the team.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively.
This role may involve occasional worldwide travel. On-call duties may occur during weekends/holidays. A security clearance may be required.
