The ideal candidate will have strong skills in C/C++ and Python, along with knowledge of UEFI development standards. Qualifications

• Experience in UEFI development is essential.
• Strong coding and debugging skills in C / C++ and Python are required.
• Understanding of standards like UEFI, BMC, IPMI, PCI / PCIe, USB, and ACPI.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with R&D teams to develop UEFI BIOS.

Overview

BIOS / UEFI Engineer at a pioneering company specialising in high-performance computing, known for developing Rhea, a leading energy-efficient microprocessor. Engineered for seamless collaboration with third-party accelerators like GPU, AI, and quantum technologies, Rhea addresses significant challenges in medical research, artificial intelligence, security, and energy management.

Location: Grenoble / Sophia Antipolis

BIOS / UEFI Engineer Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other Research and Development teams in the development and delivery of Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) BIOS, incorporating the design of novel product features.
• Create high-level design documents and scope requirements, culminating in detailed specifications.
• Contribute to the development of both unit tests and validation tests.

BIOS / UEFI Engineer Qualifications

• Experience in UEFI development (UEFI coding and debugging experience).
• Strong knowledge of C / C++, Python and other programming languages.
• Good knowledge of industry standards, such as UEFI, BMC, IPMI, PCI / PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI.
