Summary: Takes, retrieves and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages courteously and efficiently according to job specification. Answers guest questions and provides outstanding guest service.

Essential Functions

• Inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.
• Greet guests and take their orders. Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non alcoholic selections available.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by the state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minor and intoxicated persons.
• Be familiar with all hotel services/ features and provide information to guests, as needed.
• Legibly document orders when POS is down and distribute orders to respective bartender for preparation of order.
• рокւ Retrieve orders from Bar area and serve promptly to guests.
• Replace ashtrays within the Pit with 4 butts with clean ashtray by using capping method.
• Follow all Clark County Health Codes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous experience as a beverage server
• One year experience as a beverage server in a bar, lounge, or hotel/casino environment preferred
• Compute quickly and accurately basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
• Ability to use computers and calculators
• Ability to effectively communicate in metaf English, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 21 years of age
