Business Development Representative (French Market) – European Expansion

About My Client

My client is a rapidly scaling global SaaS organization focused on simplifying and digitizing finance operations for enterprises and SMEs. With a strong footprint across Asia and the Middle East, they are now expanding aggressively into Europe as part of their next phase of international growth. Backed by significant investment and a proven track record of high year-over-year growth, my client is building the foundations of a strong European presence and is looking for ambitious talent to support this expansion.

European Vision

My client has committed a multi-million-dollar investment to build and accelerate its business across Europe in the coming years. The initial market entry begins in Belgium with an E-invoicing solution aligned with global regulatory trends. Additional priority markets include France, Poland, Germany, and Spain. The objective is to establish a robust revenue base and become a key player in the European enterprise software space.

About the Role

As one of the first SDR hires supporting my client’s European go-to-market strategy, you will play a pivotal role in building a high-quality sales pipeline for the French market. This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage, influence GTM processes, and work closely with sales leadership.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outbound prospecting, enjoys engaging senior stakeholders, and is eager to contribute to a high-growth international expansion. You will gain exposure to enterprise SaaS sales and have a clear path for accelerated career growth.

Responsibilities
  • Generate qualified opportunities through rigorous outbound prospecting in French markets
  • Conduct in-depth research on target companies and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Initiate conversations with senior personas including CFOs, CIOs, Finance Heads, Tax Leads, and IT Leaders
  • Craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls to capture prospect attention
  • Represent my client and communicate the value of their product offering to potential customers
  • Maintain accurate lead and activity records within the CRM
  • Nurture warm prospects and identify new sales opportunities
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified leads and sales representativesRefine outreach strategies and continuously improve product knowledge
Requirements & Nice-to-Haves
  • Native French proficiency and professional-level English
  • 1–2 years of experience in outbound prospecting or cold calling for the French market
  • Background in software or IT solutions sales is an advantage
  • A proactive, resilient, and growth-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems is beneficial
