Role Overview

• Position: Mathematics Expert – Contract, Remote
• Flexible hours, 5-6 week engagement
• Strengthen AI systems’ reasoning capabilities through rigorous problem-solving and theorem-based evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Solve and evaluate challenging mathematics problems across diverse fields.
• Review AI-generated proofs and solutions for correctness and rigor.
• Provide structured feedback to improve mathematical reasoning models.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance model outputs.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Recent PhD in Mathematics (within past 4 years) OR PhD candidate ≥2 years into program.
• Enrolled in or graduated from a top 30 mathematics program.
• Active in research/academia or recently engaged (within the past 4 years).
• Strong background in advanced problem-solving, with ability to clearly articulate reasoning, reference theorems, and identify gaps in writing.
