Analytical Biochemistry Engineer

Ceva Santé Animale is a leading French animal health company headquartered in Landivisiau, Finistère. The R&D department at the Ceva Smart Solutions Ecat‑iD Campus seeks an Analytical Biochemistry Engineer to develop innovative measurement tools, new sampling methods, and high‑throughput analytical techniques while contributing to biomarker discovery and validation.

Your missions
  • Develop qualitative/quantitative analysis methods in complex biological matrices.
  • Participate in biomarker discovery and validation.
  • Prepare samples, perform analyses, and interpret results.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of analytical equipment.
  • Assist in drafting technical documents (patents, publications, reports, protocols).
Required skills
  • Experience in an analytical biochemistry laboratory.
  • Handling various biological matrices (blood, urine, tissues, etc.) and sample preparation.
  • Expertise in mass spectrometry (with or without liquid chromatography coupling and diverse ionization modes).
  • Knowledge of spectroscopic methods.
  • Familiarity with targeted, untargeted, quantitative, and omics approaches.
  • Basic programming skills (Python/R).
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
