We are currently looking for a Contracting Manager for our Middle East DMC market, based in Palma de Mallorca.
The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of suppliers and analyze the market, purchase, and renew contracts for the assigned destination/product, ensuring its competitiveness and maximizing sales and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and establishing relationships with the DMC suppliers in their portfolio, negotiating the best possible conditions, and ensuring the suppliers understand our value proposition and tools to maximize their performance and competitiveness in B2B.
- Enhance the assigned portfolio with new properties with high demand, sourcing new products in the assigned geography.
- Perform online analysis, analyze prices and quality, and manage the contracting and renewal process end-to-end, ensuring all contracts meet internal standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage suppliers effectively, acting as the main point of contact within the geographical region for all commercial matters, contracts, promos, contract amendments, etc.
- Cooperate with internal colleagues to ensure suppliers meet all health and safety requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for signing the most competitive rates for JumbOnline clients in B2B and B2A environments.
- Monitoring the performance of each supplier, working closely with the Pricing team to ensure optimal competitiveness and availability.
- Ensure the supplier understands how the partnership with JumbOnline can lead to mutual success and optimized revenues.
Requirements & Experience:
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with suppliers.
- Experience with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills in English; Spanish or any other language would be a plus.
- Solid experience (3+ years) and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries, key competitors, industry issues, and related technology.
- First-hand knowledge of the Middle East market would be a great asset.
