YOUR IMPACT

As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll play a key role in building the integration framework that powers our travel marketplace. You’ll develop scalable, high-performance services using NestJS, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and TypeScript, ensuring seamless connectivity between our platform and experience providers worldwide.

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

1. Develop scalable integrations with efficient APIs and robust data pipelines.
2. Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-volume data processing.
3. Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless system integration.
4. Ensure seamless provider connectivity through standardized frameworks.
5. Enhance system reliability with monitoring, caching, and automated testing.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation and integration efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE?

1. 4+ years in backend development with Node.js & TypeScript.
2. Strong expertise in NestJS and scalable backend architectures.
3. Experience with PostgreSQL, including performance optimization.
4. Proficiency in RESTful APIs and microservices.
5. Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) & asynchronous processing.
6. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
7. Experience in building integration systems, working with third-party APIs, and solving complex challenges while maintaining strong architecture, error handling, and documentation practices.
8. The ideal candidate values knowledge sharing, has experience with travel technology or marketplace platforms, and balances technical excellence with practical solutions to meet business needs.

Competitive Salary – Fixed based on experience + Variable bonus

Flexible Hybrid Work – 3 days in the office, 2 remote per week

Adaptable Hours – Start between 8:00 - 9:30 a.m., finish between 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Short Fridays – 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for a head start on the weekend
