One of the hottest technological start-ups in the logistics sector, founded in 2015, is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer. The company was founded a few years ago and, since then, has experienced strong growth in five different countries working for top international retailers.
Based in Barcelona, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer and join their platform engineering team.
Your main duties include:
- Create distributed systems and tooling that are robust, scalable, and resilient.
- Ensure our cloud infrastructure's performance and efficiency.
- Gain hands-on experience with the cloud as cloud native engineers.
- Analyze cloud services for a deep understanding of low-level details and underlying systems.
- Engage in continuous R+D in cloud native architecture and services to enable capabilities.
- Maintain security and scalability by collaborating with the engineering team.
Someone who holds a degree in Computer Science (or related). Cloud expertise as developer / sysadmin, in GCP. Cloud Native, uservices and event-driven architecture mindset. Experience in programming languages such as:
- Go or Python
It's a PLUS if you have... Mixed-role experience, any combination of systems / development / security / QA is welcomed!
