Maintaining the aircraft fleet EAT/DHA/DHK/ASL ensures safe, stable, and punctual operations through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities during ground times. This approach focuses on maximizing aircraft reliability and operational efficiency while adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
Conducting general repair and maintenance jobs on avionic and electrical systems of aircraft within a specific type rating, based on internal qualification standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze defects and faults, evaluate error logs, and resolve issues by replacing parts or fluids, and installing aircraft components.
- Lay and connect power, signal, and data lines, and assemble and install sensor systems, electronic control and regulation technology, and actuators.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of avionic systems, ensuring performance and compliance with standards.
- Install and configure aeronautical software, conduct testing, and verify functionality and performance.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to maintain regulatory compliance and track aircraft history.
Post-Maintenance Checks:
- Check and release aircraft after maintenance on structure, engine, and mechanical systems within a specific type rating.
- Perform Category A maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and airworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with flight crews and support teams regarding technical status and operations.
- Coordinate with MCC, MOC, and troubleshooting departments for updates and issue resolution.
- Support logistics for parts and tools, ensuring timely availability and proper inventory management.
- Maintain equipment in safe and usable condition through inspections and repairs.
- Adhere to MOE, CAME, TC documentation, and other regulatory standards to ensure ongoing airworthiness.
- Report irregularities according to SMS protocols, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Contribute ideas for performance and efficiency improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or related field, with a 'Certifying Staff' license per EASA Part 66 AML CAT B2, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Desirable: at least one type rating and experience with wide-body aircraft, especially in outstation environments.
- Strong teamwork, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset.

- Flexible work hours, including shifts, weekends, and AOG support; willingness to travel for training and maintenance support.
- Proficiency in IT systems (Microsoft Office, Trax, AIMS; AMOS is a plus).
