Vice President Legal

to strengthen our legal team in our Barcelona HQ office.

We are looking for :

As a Vice President Legal

you will have responsibility for the legal affairs of the company. Your role includes providing legal counsel to the board of directors, chief executive officers and other senior management. This is a position that focuses on the legal department but you will also responsible for providing valid business solutions to arising problems.

In this strategic role, you will partner closely with the Legal Director and engage collaboratively with the external and internal teams.

Your responsibilities include :

Give accurate legal direction to the leadership team on all matters that influence the organization.Lead and organize work of external lawyersEnsure the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.Oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies.Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing proactive solutions to minimize exposure.Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.Establish and maintain efficient contract management processes and systems.Manage and oversee all litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.Work with external legal counsels, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality legal representation.Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure adherence to best practices.Ensure proper legal documentation and policies are in place.Stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company’s operations.Advocate for the company’s interests in legislative and regulatory matters.Ensure proper procedures for the identification, protection, and commercialization of intellectual property.Support company expansion in new markets

In order to be successful :

A qualified lawyer with 8+ years experienceExperience in a senior role in an in-house legal teamProven experience in fast growing business of big 4 consulting with a track record of leading legal teamsSelf Motivated with excellent analytical and organizational skills.Outstanding negotiation and research skills.Fluent in English and Spanish
