The specific focus of this team is to create reusable UI components for the application teams; the essential approach is a component-based UI and composite-UI architecture.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Excellent oral and written skills in English.
• 3+ years of recent experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Ability to work within an existing design system.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams using Atlassian products including JIRA and Confluence.
• Proficient in Figma.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and component-based UI design; familiarity with micro-site / composite-UI architecture is a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Help define product requirements by engaging with users and the business.
• Conduct various forms of user research, including user interviews and concept testing.
• Design, test, and iterate to create intuitive and scalable user experiences.
• Work with developers to implement designs—creating production-ready digital assets (PNG) and source code artifacts such as HTML/CSS.
• Participate in regular design critiques.
