A leading service provider in Galicia is seeking an On-Site Service Technician to perform installation and maintenance of equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics and experience in troubleshooting technical issues. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer support, along with travel to various sites as necessary.

Formación

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive On-Site Service Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical servicing, the ability to diagnose technical issues, and a commitment to providing excellent customer support.

Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as per company standards.
  • Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
  • Work closely with the engineering and service teams to report and resolve technical problems.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry regulations.
  • Maintain service records and prepare detailed reports after each service visit.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Travel to various customer sites as required for servicing and repairs.
  • Ensure proper handling of tools, spare parts, and service equipment.
Skills & Competencies
  • Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical components, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Hands-on experience in using diagnostic tools and repair instruments.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as per job requirements.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in servicing industrial machinery, solar equipment, or robotics will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of PLC, sensors, and automation systems is a plus.
