An innovative powertrain solutions company based in Valladolid, Spain is seeking a system validation expert to lead development plans and testing for automotive projects. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechatronics or a related field and have excellent command of both English and Spanish. What You Will Do

• Lead system development plans aligned with ECU hardware and software requirements.
• Define and manage system testing plans for vehicle projects.
• Ensure availability of hardware and software testing resources.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report defects.
• Provide technical support to validators and manage critical issues.
• Report progress at internal milestones and ensure quality objectives.
• Coordinate product/process convergence for hardware and software systems.
• Propose optimizations and improvements to standards and processes.

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record in system validation and embedded software architecture.
• Engineering degree in Mechatronics or related fields (Mechanical, Electronics); MSc or PhD preferred.
• Excellent skills in system architecture definition and validation methods for new functions.
• Strong competencies in problem‑solving and team collaboration, with a multicultural approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
