DEIMOS is selecting engineers to be integrated into the GNSS Unit at our Tres Cantos premises, supporting new growth areas in the development of components for space systems.

Main Duties:

The responsibilities include:

• SW Architecture
• Development of software for Navigation Satellite purposes
• Development of support tools for SW qualification
• SW specification, design, development, and validation

Education:

Required: a recognized degree in engineering (computer science, telecommunication, electrical, aerospace, or similar), physics, or mathematics.

Professional Experience:

Various levels of professional experience relevant to the role will be considered.

Technical Requirements:

The following skills are required:

• Programming skills in C/C++
• Good knowledge of LINUX/UNIX programming environment
• Knowledge of repositories (CVS, GIT, etc.)
• Software engineering methods and techniques

Additional assets include:

• Proficiency in Python programming

Experience with continuous integration is a plus.

Language Skills:

Good command of English, both spoken and written.

Personal Skills:

• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment with fixed schedules and interdependent tasks.
• Initiative, rigor, commitment, and reliability in task execution.
