Overview

Sub-Region Program Manager

This role involves leading strategic projects across Europe in travel technology, focusing on seamless travel and biometric technologies to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency. The position requires managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with various stakeholders in the travel ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Guide a portfolio of strategic projects related to seamless travel initiatives and biometric technologies across European airports.

  • Oversee team development and resource coordination, including budget, performance, and growth planning.

  • Contribute to pre-sales bids, ensuring alignment with Amadeus methodologies and business objectives.

  • Identify risks and propose solutions, while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate knowledge sharing during transitions.

About the Ideal Candidate
  • Extensive experience in program management within travel technology or airport operations, ideally across European markets.

  • Effective leadership and team coordination skills in multicultural, matrixed environments.

  • Experience using project governance frameworks and tools to manage complex programs.

  • Familiarity with Amadeus seamless travel technologies and biometric solutions is welcome.

  • Clear communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent certification.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is welcome.
