Job Description

Nextracker is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Engineer for both Supply Chain and Sales enablement support in sourcing teams in supplier benchmarking studies while being in contact with sales team in supporting them with solar project eBOS design optimization on international projects. Working with sales the Strategic Sourcing Engineer will be instrumental in tailoring technical solutions conduct technical presentations and demos for clients across international markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems hands‑on engineering support and ability to collaborate with international internal teams suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support and application engineering expertise to the sourcing team for solar eBOS products.

Collaborate with international sales product and project engineering team to design optimized P V eBOS project solutions.

Prepare and deliver technical documentation including schematics drawings and compliance reports.

Collaborate with R&D and product management to provide international customer feedback and drive product improvements.

Provide sales with technical support during pre‑sales cycle from technical design to proposal development to customer.

Drive innovation and cost reduction initiatives through design optimization.

Work closely with internal teams including sales engineering operations and supply chain to align sourcing activities sales enablement and project delivery on time.

Bridge Technical Expertise to Fulfill Customer Needs

Collaborate with R&D and product management to provide international customer feedback and drive product improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

8 years of experience in Engineering and design with a strong focus on sales support for EBOS (e.g. Wire harness String Inverter Racks Combiner Box Disconnects IPC Trunk Bus In‑line Fuses).

Deep knowledge of wire harness manufacturing processes box integration and mechanical assemblies.

Strong analytical mindset creativity and effective communication abilities.

High level of autonomy and accountability for results.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.

Experience working with EPCs Owners sales for PV EBOS.
