Steam Generator Inspection Engineer

The Eddy Current Steam Generator Inspection Engineer role is responsible for delivering data collection and/or tooling activities on site during tube inspection and/or repair for steam generator inspection and repair activities at operational nuclear power plants worldwide.

This role provides the opportunity to build a robust technical and site background experience and offers the possibility to develop a career path later in other areas (shift lead, site lead, analysis technical expertise, etc.).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for leading inspection and maintenance activities in customer nuclear power plants worldwide:

  • Proactively execute the headquarter preparation of the project on a daily basis: equipment, documentation, personnel, etc.
  • Proactively execute the project in a nuclear plant on a daily basis, considering safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Lead an international work team.
  • Report any deviations in real-time upon discovery.
  • Develop lessons learned activities to drive continuous improvement between outages.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong technical interest and willingness for worldwide travel in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken); German is a plus.
