Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon Business

Overview: The Amazon Business (AB) Pricing team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help own and drive foundational areas of our program. This role will challenge you to dive deep, find innovative solutions and drive consensus across stakeholders. You will be directly involved with strategic and tactical execution of areas key to the success and growth of our team. You will be part of a rapidly expanding global business focused on building solutions at the intersection of tech and retail in the B2B space, aiming to provide the best customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive evolution of key pricing programs and their foundations, including Business Discounts, Core Pricing Publishing, Vendor and Seller pricing tools.
• Create mechanisms to track project execution and health in this space.
• Help run-down and remediate operational concerns that may exist in these areas.
• Lead in ambiguity, solve hard, complex technical problems, and align leaders across AB and Amazon on status and strategy through strong verbal and written communication.
• Be passionate about innovating and delivering high-quality customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
